President Trump called the GOP leadership to the White House yesterday and issued his demand. If Congress does not fully fund the border wall project, he will veto whatever spending bill they send him and shut down the government.

This isn't a hypothetical anymore. At least a thousand caravan migrants rushed the border on Sunday. At least 42 of the migrants were able to tear down a section of the fence and break into the United States. It was only after they began pelting Border Patrol agents with rocks and chunks of concrete that tear gas was deployed.

There is only one word to describe what we witnessed on Sunday: it was an invasion.

The Department of Homeland Security has three new border wall designs that it says are impenetrable. But it is currently against the law for the Trump administration to build these new designs along the border. Paul Ryan added that language into last year's spending package to stop the new designs from being implemented. That is absolutely shameful.

Now, many of your colleagues are trying to renew that language in this year's spending package. Not only are they trying to block the border wall construction funding, but they want to prohibit President Trump from erecting the designs that Border Patrol agents say are most effective.

What is going on? Seriously, what are you doing?

After Sunday's repelled invasion, it is clear that we need a border wall more than ever. And with Open Border Democrats taking over the House in January, this is our last chance to get the wall funded.

So why aren't you taking action? Why aren't you doing everything in your power to get the border wall funded?

You swore an oath to protect me from all enemies, foreign and domestic. The caravan is at the gates and some of your colleagues are trying to let them in.

Enough is enough. You know what you need to do. You need to vote to secure the border and fully appropriate all of the funding to build the wall. Not in a couple months... not next year... right now.

The President has already issued his veto threat and if he is forced to go through with it and shut down the government, YOU will be blamed for it!
