Shameful: Pentagon Forcing Thousands of Veterans Into Bankruptcy
Veterans who served in Afghanistan and Iraq are getting collections notices from the Pentagon. The Obama administration doesn’t like how much these soldiers were given in signing bonuses for re-enlisting at the height of the war.
These men and women decided to re-enlist, at least in part, because of the signing bonuses. Now, a decade later, the Pentagon says they were paid too much.
Veterans are losing their homes and going into bankruptcy over this. Unacceptable.
Both Republicans and Democrats agree: this needs to be stopped immediately. But it is up to YOU to force them to act!
