Obama Bringing Iran Deal to UN Instead of Congress

Obama has gone too far! Instead of putting his nuclear treaty with Iran up for a vote in the Senate as the Constitution requires, Barack Obama plans put it forward in the United Nations to circumvent Congress entirely!

This cannot be allowed to happen. The Constitution requires a 2/3 vote in the Senate for a reason. One man should NOT be allowed to create law. Whether it is by executive order or by sidestepping Congress through the United Nations, President Obama doesn't have the authority to create law on his own.

Only Congress can stop this out-of-control President, but the only way they act is if YOU demand it! Don't let Emperor Obama surrender the United States to U.N. control!

The Constitution requires that all treaties receive a two-thirds vote in the United States Senate before becoming law. That's not something that's up for interpretation. It is mandatory.

Right now, the Obama administration is negotiating a nuclear treaty with Iran. However, the President has no intention of putting it up for a vote in the Senate.

Instead, reports indicate that the President will circumvent Congress by putting his treaty up for a vote in the United Nations.

This is exactly what the administration did with the UN Arms Trade Treaty. The President knew that he didn't have the votes in the Senate for ratification. But he had John Kerry sign the treaty anyway and pledge the United States' support for its implementation.

Now, the President is doing the same thing with Iran and its pursuit of nuclear weapons. Not only does the President plan to unlawfully and unilaterally roll-back Congressionally approved sanctions, but he plans to sidestep the Constitution by having the U.N. vote on it instead.

This is UNACCEPTABLE and UNCONSTITUTIONAL! And this President is supposed to have been a Constitutional Law professor?

The real question is whether you are willing to cede your legislative authority and allow the President to shred the Constitution, giving Iran the bomb in the process.

If you won't put a stop to this blatant lawlessness then you need to resign from Congress. Otherwise, you need to get up and put a stop to this Imperial President once and for all!

This isn't a joke. The fate of our allies in the Middle East is at stake and if you allow the President to shred the Constitution like this, then the Republic will be dealt a serious blow.
