Obama’s Gun Grabbers Back Down, For Now

Remember when I told you how VA thugs were trying to disarm another American veteran? Well, they backed down... sort of. They are still refusing to remove John Arnold's name from the prohibited person list. He still can't buy a gun and if he was to try, he'd be arrested on the spot.

Now, he's expected to hire a lawyer and spend thousands of dollars to fight something that never should have happened.

The Obama administration has already done this to over 170,000 veterans. Trampled on their 2nd, 4th, and 5th Amendment rights and no one raised a finger to stop it. Now, you can. You need to pressure Congress to pass John Cornyn's legislation banning the disarmament of veterans or retirees without due process!

The Obama administration has already disarmed 170,000 veterans. These are decisions made by doctors and unelected bureaucrats to trample on American citizens' rights.

The 4th Amendment protects us from unreasonable searches and seizures. Since when has the VA had an exemption from this to bust down doors and confiscate gun collections?

The 5th Amendment protects our right to due process. An unelected bureaucrat making a decision is not due process. Telling me I can fight it in court later is not due process.

And lastly, the 2nd Amendment protects our rights to keep and bear arms. Nowhere does it say that this is dependent on VA approval.

Last week, VA thugs tried to confiscate an Idaho man's firearms. A VA bureaucrat had deemed him incompetent since he needs help managing his finances. More than 100 of his friends and neighbors showed up to turn the gun grabbers away.

This is a great story, but as I said, this has already happened to 170,000 veterans and will happen to thousands more if you don't act.

John Cornyn's NICS reform legislation would put a stop to these arbitrary VA decisions and give disarmed veterans the chance to get their gun rights back. Right now, there is no mechanism to challenge these VA determinations.

Last month, news broke that this same disarmament program was going to be expanded to the SSA. We are watching the biggest gun grab in history coming down the pike.

The solution is in front of you. John Cornyn's NICS reform bill will put a stop to this lawlessness, which is the reason the NRA supports it.
