Update: More Congressmen Rise to Defend Army Hero from Obama

It's working! Congressmen are starting to come on board to defend Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland against his completely unreasonable involuntary discharge.

This is the man who stood up for an Afghan child rape victim and shoved his confessed rapist. Because of that shove, an 11-year military career is ending. Obama would rather side with an Afghan rapist than a Bronze Star recipient. It's just so warped.

But it doesn't need to be this way. You don't have to just sit back while Obama purges the military. You can stand up and fight and DEMAND that Congress put a stop to this ridiculous punishment!

This is disgraceful. The Obama administration and Pentagon are discharging a Green Beret all because he 'shoved' an Afghan police officer who admitted to raping 12 year old boy.

If you were standing right next to someone who was laughing about molesting a young boy and beating his mother, what would you do? Would you stand there and pretend it never happened? Or would you take action?

Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland chose to shove the Afghan police officer. Sure, it's not exactly protocol but it is something any of us probably would have done.

Well, now Sgt Martland is being involuntarily discharged from the Army. He has been in for 11 years and received a Bronze Star for bravery. Yet, the Obama administration is more interested in protecting an Afghan rapist than one of our own. It's just so shameful.

Rep. Duncan Hunter is leading the charge to put a stop to this completely unreasonable discharge. We need more men like Martland in the military, not less.

You MUST get on board and fight to have this discharge stopped. This man answered the call to defend us. He even answered the call to defend this victim. It is about time that you rise up and defend him!
