Hillary Clinton broke the law when she chose to store classified documents and materials on her private email server.

Section 793 of the penal code (The Espionage Act) makes it a Felony for a government official to exercise gross negligence in handling classified materials. Even if the emails weren't classified at the very beginning, Hillary chose to leave them on an unsecure server in a bathroom closet in an apartment in Denver years after leaving office. She broke the law. Period.

The other law she is being investigated for breaking is outlined in Section 1924 of the penal code. It deals with the "unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or material." It makes no distinction between knowingly and unknowingly breaking the law. Considering that the State Department IT didn't even know that Hillary was using a private email server, it is hard to believe that she was approved to store classified information on this server.

These are the crimes Hillary committed. One carries up to a year in prison and the other disqualifies her from running for President.

It is refreshing to see the Obama administration investigate one of its own but at any moment, Obama could pull the plug on the investigation and Hillary would get off scot-free.

You MUST appoint a Special Prosecutor. Whatever the case, we need Hillary to be investigated by an impartial prosecutor. Obama has a vested interest in putting another Democrat in the Oval Office. He cannot be trusted to fully prosecute Hillary Clinton.

The only excuse I can find for you not appointing a Special Prosecutor is that you're afraid.

Let me put it this way. If you continue to stall on this, the only thing you should be afraid of is losing your re-election!
