In March of 2015, Hillary Clinton told the American people that she never sent or received classified information by email. Period.

Yesterday, the State Department increased the number of classified emails on her server to 1,730. There is no such thing as retroactive classification. Every single piece of intelligence is classified for a period of time starting the moment it was originated.

For example, in this latest batch, there are emails that are scheduled to be unclassified in 2025, because the law requires for them to be classified for 15 years and it is assumed that they were classified all along.

What is even more troubling is that Mrs. Clinton put personal convenience over protecting the lives of American intelligence assets. There are reports now that she outed CIA assets in an email. This is unacceptable.

The Secretary of State knows better than to name a classified source over a non-secure email.

She violated the Espionage Act.

There has been a lot of talk about Loretta Lynch, the current Attorney General, maybe replacing Justice Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court. She's also responsible for prosecuting Hillary Clinton.

If she is pegged as next in line, and the Republicans successfully block her, then Hillary will not be prosecuted. Why would she? The only way Lynch would be able to get around a filibuster would be to protect Hillary and hope she wins the White House.

This is why you must appoint a Special Prosecutor. The passing of Justice Scalia and the revelation that Loretta Lynch is on the short list means that she cannot be trusted to prosecute Hillary Clinton. Period.
