The Obama administration let an illegal alien killer out of jail because his victim was still clinging to life when they analyzed the case. Now, they've also admitted that the only reason he was in the country is because of Barack Obama's amnesty at the Southern Border.

Apparently, driving drunk, three-times the legal limit, and fatally wounding an innocent girl doesn't qualify as a threat to public safety under Obama.

The family's funeral cost more than the bail this illegal alien had to post. Despicable.

I want to tell you the story of Sarah Root. In January, she was driving her SUV when she was struck by another car. One day earlier, she had graduated from college with a 4.0 GPA. The next day, she was victimized by an illegal alien.

The other driver, Eswin Mejia, was not only an illegal alien but was also driving with a Blood Alcohol Level THREE TIMES the legal limit. His BAC was .241.

The police arrested Mejia on a number of charges and Sarah Root was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

When the Omaha police called ICE and asked for an immigration detainer to stop this criminal from being released on bail, ICE refused. Their reasoning? The illegal alien didn't qualify as a "threat to public safety."

When asked in a committee hearing why the illegal alien was allowed to disappear, ICE Director Saldana replied that Sarah Root "had not passed away until later."

Let that sink in. The Obama administration has said that the reason they let this illegal alien criminal go is because his victim had not yet passed away when they were called. 21-year old Sarah Root was in the hospital clinging to life and ICE's position is that the illegal alien who put her there can go free as long as she isn't dead yet.

Now, we're also learning that Mejia was allowed into the country three years ago as an "unaccompanied minor." Obama rolled the welcome mat out for him and he went on to kill an American college graduate.

This is the reality of Obama's amnesty program. Killers are released on technicalities and anyone can come into the country, no questions asked.

The fact of the matter is that Sarah Root's funeral cost more than the bail this illegal alien criminal had to post. It's despicable. Now, he has disappeared and is nowhere to be found.

You have one responsibility: Remove Sarah Saldana from office and replace her with someone who will enforce the law as written! The Obama administration had two chances to enforce the law. One would have saved Sarah Root's life and the other would have given her family justice. Director Saldana did neither. She prioritized illegal aliens' comfort over Americans' security.

I don't care if it will be difficult. They are releasing killers from prison. This Obama administration official needs to be removed from office right now!
