Another Police Officer Killed. Why Won't Congress Protect Them?
It is open season on police officers in this country and all the Obama administration can seem to muster is praise for the organizations calling for more violence.
Police officers are being deliberately targeted. Many times, officers are being shot at because they of their skin color. And yet, the Obama Justice Department refuses to classify any of these killings as hate crimes.
This is unacceptable.
There is now a serious push in Congress behind the Thin Blue Line movement to reclassify Police Officers as a protected class within the Federal hate crime statutes. the Blue Lives Matter Act would reclassify any targeted attack against police as a hate crime.
