Now that the Obama administration has disarmed 257,000 VA beneficiaries, they are turning their attention to the nation's Social Security beneficiaries. We are just days away from the Social Security Administration launching its program to disarm 75,000 elderly and disabled beneficiaries every year.

Americans are being added to the prohibited persons list and having their firearms literally confiscated for reasons as simple as the fact that they have family members helping with their finances.

This is the biggest gun confiscation scheme in US history and the Obama administration is quite literally counting on you being too busy to notice.

It has been a year since the Social Security Beneficiary 2nd Amendment Rights Protection Act was introduced into Congress. It has sat and collected dust for an entire year.

Back when this bill was introduced, the Obama administration's plan to disarm Social Security beneficiaries was just a rumor.

It is no longer a rumor. This regulation has been introduced and is in the Federal Record as 81 FR 27059. The comment period has now ended. This will be rolled out and hundreds of thousands of Americans will be disarmed.

Why? Because they checked a box and asked for a family member or friend to be assigned as a representative payee so they can help with managing finances.

The Obama administration is taking hundreds of thousands of Americans and declaring they have "marked subhuman intelligence" because they need help paying their bills on time or need help getting their checks deposited at the bank...

It is just madness.

The Social Security Beneficiary 2nd Amendment Rights Protection Act has just 24 lines of text. It's purpose is simple: to prohibit the government from disarming someone simply because they need help with their finances... Being assigned a representative payee would no longer be an excuse to declare that someone has "marked subhuman intelligence."

HR3516 and S2495 have been waiting for a hearing for an entire year. These two identical bills were introduced last September. The House and Senate versions of this bill, together, have over 150 co-sponsors.

The Committee Chairmen who have the power to move this common-sense forward all support the bill.

So, why hasn't this moved forward?

The Obama administration is targeting veterans, the disabled, and the elderly because they are the least likely to fight back. The people who rely on Social Security and benefits checks to survive are unlikely to pay for a lawyer to get their 2nd Amendment rights back.

They can't fight for their rights, but I can. I refuse to just sit by while hundreds of thousands of Americans are disarmed.

Either pass this common sense, two-page bill or I will stop at nothing to make sure you are removed from office and replaced. It has been a year. Either pass this bill or step aside.
