Wow: Pentagon Not Returning Money to Veterans
Earlier this week, the Pentagon announced that it was suspending the program to claw-back re-enlistment bonuses from soldiers who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
No more collections notices will go out. But they said nothing about the thousands of veterans who were forced to repay their bonuses. Sec. of Defense Ash Carter made no mention of paying back the disabled veterans forced to the brink of bankruptcy in order to give the Obama administration its pound of flesh...
It's time to put an end to all of this!
Two years ago, this scandal was brought to Congress' attention and they did nothing. Don't let them sweep this under the rug again...
