Somali Refugee Terror Attack Causes Obama to Double-Down on Refugees...

Yesterday, we sent close to 100,000 faxes to Congress demanding that they defund Obama's unvetted refugee program. The day began with news of a "mass shooting," but when the dust settled, it was revealed that yet another one of Barack Obama's refugees had gone on a stabbing spree.

This is what happens when a President is allowed to bring in unlimited numbers of refugees from terror-prone countries without full background checks or even probing to see whether they hold radical views.

Common sense dictates that when Obama lets Middle Eastern refugees into the United States from terror-prone and war-torn countries, it is only a matter of time before one of them turns out to be a radical.

Last month, a Somali refugee went on a stabbing spree at a Minnesota shopping mall, injuring 10. We were told that he was just one bad apple and that the refugee program should not be blamed for his radicalism.

Yesterday, another Somali refugee went on a stabbing spree, this time at Ohio State University. His spree was cut short by a brave OSU police officer who happened to be on the scene. The officer shot and killed the terrorist just one minute into his attack.

This is the face of Barack Obama's unvetted refugee program.

Like Syria, Somalia presents a difficult challenge for refugee vetting. It is a failed state. The government does not have control over all of its territory. Digital records are non-existent and it is next to impossible to track down a refugee's paper records in a country plagued by violence, famine, and controlled by warlords.

When a government bureaucrat picks up the phone and calls Syria or Somalia to verify a refugee's identity and back-story, there is usually no one to pick up the phone. And on the off chance someone does answer, why would they help us? They want terrorists as far away as possible.

How many victims do you need before you accept that Obama's unvetted refugee program isn't working? When a Somali refugee applies for residency in the United States, he or she has to swear under oath that they did not serve in the Nazi military during World War II. But there are no questions pertaining to radical religious beliefs... That is how backwards our system is.

This week, you and your colleagues will vote on a Continuing Resolution to fund the remainder of Obama's term. If you fund his refugee program at its current levels, there is no telling how many more radicals he will bring into the country...

All you have to do is attach the American SAFE Act to the CR and this will all be over. If you sit on your hands and allow this madness to continue, the blood will be on your hands...
