Update: Obama Just Doubled Number of "Inadmissible" Middle Eastern Refugees

Obama just DOUBLED the number of "inadmissible" refugees he's accepting from Australia. These are people from Iran, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia, Iraq, and Sudan who applied to become refugees in Australia, but were turned away after Australian screeners deemed them "inadmissible."

Many of these people were turned away for security concerns. Now, Obama is frantically trying to bring 2,400 of them into the United States before Trump takes over.

You got Congress' attention on this. You forced them to start asking questions. And it was your advocacy that forced the Obama administration to illegally classify this refugee transfer to try to keep it secret.

I brought to your attention the fact that Obama is trying to bring in thousands of "inadmissible" refugees from the Middle East. Earlier this week, a Somali refugee went on a stabbing spree at Ohio State University. In the aftermath, the FBI began frantically searching through his past, especially his connections in Pakistan and Somalia, to determine his motives. This should have been done before the refugee terrorist was allowed into the country, not after bodies started hitting the floor.

Australia, however, does this common sense screening before admitting anyone. They combed through these refugees' histories and determined they were inadmissible. Obama doesn't care. He's bringing them into the US anyway.

At first we thought the number was 1,233. Now it turns out that Obama is bringing 2,465 of Australia's rejected refugees into the United States. He doubled the number.

You cannot allow this to happen. No matter how you look at it, this is just a bad idea. When a major military and intelligence ally vets a refugee and determines it would not be safe to admit them, it makes absolutely no sense for us to turn around and let them in anyway.

In the coming days, screeners from USCIS will head to Australia to begin processing these "inadmissible" refugees. Their goal is to admit them before Trump takes office.

I am writing you to DEMAND - and I really mean this - that you intervene and cut off the funding for this asinine plan. You and your colleagues are voting on a number of spending bills this week. You MUST attach a provision to one of these bills that stops Obama's suicidal "inadmissible" refugee plan from moving forward!
