Fact: Congress Just Killed Two Innocent Women

An illegal alien - deported 8x - is now the lead suspect in a drunk driving hit-and-run that killed two innocent women. After hitting them with his vehicle, Miguel Angel Villasenor-Saucedo is accused of fleeing the scene on foot and leaving them to die.

The last time he was deported was in 2013. As a result of being caught then with 7-previous deportations, his prison sentence was just 60 days.

If Kates Law had been in effect - a 5 year mandatory minimum for illegal aliens caught re-entering the country - this illegal alien would still be in jail and his victims would be alive and well.

This is the price of inaction. This is the cost of Congress sitting on their hands and refusing to pass Kate's Law.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Miguel Angel Villasenor-Saucedo. He is an illegal alien who has been previously deported eight times and is now the chief suspect in a drunk driving hit-and-run that killed two innocent women in Kentucky this year.

Think about that for a second... This guy is deported eight times. On the 9th time, he re-enters the country, he gets drunk and fatally injures two innocent women. Instead of trying to help them, he flees the scene and leaves them for dead. After all this, the most prosecutors can pursue is 2 years...

Kate's Law is simple.

Under this bill, the first time a previously-deported illegal alien is caught re-entering the United States, they get a mandatory minimum of 5 years in prison.

The second time they're caught re-entering the country, that prison sentence jumps to 10 years. If that isn't enough to get the message across and they try re-entering the country again, they get a mandatory 20 years in prison.

This is common sense. The fact that the punishment is 2 years in prison after illegally entering the United States nine times and killing two innocent people is flat-out unacceptable.

There is nothing racist about Kate's Law. There is nothing xenophobic about it. It is a common-sense proposal to make sure that illegal alien criminals are not allowed to re-enter the country without consequence!

Harry Reid is retiring. He is the reason that Kate's Law was not passed earlier this year. With him gone, there is no longer any excuse.

The death of these two innocent women is the price of your inaction. The longer you wait, the more Americans suffer at the hands of these criminals.
