It has been widely reported that over the course of the Hillary Clinton and DNC investigations, the FBI discovered a memo. In that memo, Democratic operatives assure one another that Clinton will never be prosecuted because Loretta Lynch will not let it get that far.

Director Comey buried that memo and when he was asked about it by Congress, he refused to answer the question.

The fact that a special counsel has been appointed to oversee an evidence-less investigation is shameful. But I'll tell you what is even more shameful: a special counsel was never appointed to oversee the Clinton investigation despite a mountain of evidence, both of Espionage Act violations and partiality at the DOJ and FBI.

Yesterday, your colleague Lindsey Graham went on television and referred to this secret collusion memo. He is demanding the investigation be re-opened.

I am demanding that too.

We know that the DOJ was compromised. Not just from this alleged DNC memo, but from the very fact that President Bill Clinton tried to intimidate Loretta Lynch on her plane.

We know that the White House was compromised. Despite repeatedly saying that he does not comment on active investigations, President Barack Obama pre-empted the FBI investigation and declared Hillary Clinton innocent on national television.

We know that the FBI was compromised. Not only did Andrew McCabe's wife receive more than $700,000 from Clinton-connected PACs for her political campaign, but Deputy Director McCabe never reported it while overseeing the Clinton investigation. On top of that, we know that Loretta Lynch instructed Comey to stop calling the Clinton investigation and "investigation," and he complied.

This case should have had a Special Counsel appointed a year ago.

I am writing to demand that you re-open this Clinton email investigation and demand the appointment of a Special Counsel, not just to look at the Espionage Act violations themselves, but to investigate the coordinated effort to shield Hillary from prosecution!
