The Supreme Court once again rescheduled a major 2nd Amendment case dealing with concealed carry. For the seventh time, the Justices couldn't agree on whether to hear the case. The right to bear arms is now dangling by a thread.

Last week, we bombarded Congress with more than 200k FaxBlasts demanding that they pass the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act. On that same day, your activism pressured yet another Congressman to sign on and co-sponsor the legislation.

We are inching closer and closer.

Today, for the 7th time, the Supreme Court was forced to reschedule Peruta v California for another conference. This is the case challenging the constitutionality of California's ban on open and concealed carry.

In order for a case to be rescheduled, at least one Justice must support it. But it takes four Justices agreeing to hear the case before it gets added to the Court's calendar.

The Conservative wing has enough votes to force the case to be heard. But they will not do that unless they are sure that Justice Kennedy will support the right to bear arms. Alito, Roberts, Thomas, and Gorsuch don't want to risk giving the Left wing of the Supreme Court the chance to invalidate the Second Amendment nationwide.

That is what is at stake. In 2008, the Liberals on the bench were one vote away from declaring that there is no individual right to own a firearm.

Why are we waiting for nine unelected judges to decide whether Americans should have the right to defend themselves in public?

Right now, the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 has 193 co-sponsors. With Rep. Hudson - the bill's sponsor - that makes 194.

If you have already signed onto this common-sense legislation, thank you. Please work hard to convince your colleagues on both sides of the aisle that law-abiding Americans deserve the right to carry nationwide.

If you have yet to sign onto this bill, We the People are calling on you to do just that.

For far too long, anti-gun state governments have been allowed to restrict their citizens' 2nd Amendment rights and for far too long, you and your colleagues have allowed it.

This legislation would make concealed carry permits valid in all 50 states, the same way driver's licenses are. But there is also a provision within the bill that allows law-abiding gun owners living in anti-gun states to receive non-resident carry permits from other states and use them to defend themselves at home. This would make concealed carry available for all law-abiding Americans in all 50 states.

With 194 supporters in the House, this bill is reaching the point of legislative viability.
