One liberal in the Senate just blocked the GOP from defunding Planned Parenthood. The Senate Parliamentarian - Elizabeth MacDonough - ruled that the Republicans aren't allowed to pull Planned Parenthood's funding.

She needs to be removed NOW!

The GOP promised to defund Planned Parenthood. They put the bill onto Obama's desk. Now that they have a chance to get it signed into law, one liberal bureaucrat is blocking them.

Don't let the GOP use this as an excuse! Please, defend the unborn and FORCE Congress to defund Planned Parenthood by any means necessary!

A single bureaucrat in the Senate just blocked the GOP from defunding Planned Parenthood. Elizabeth MacDonough is the Senate Parliamentarian and gets to decide whether legislation complies with the Senate rules. Over the weekend, she decided that Republicans should not be allowed to defund Planned Parenthood.

Back in 2015, she looked at the same provision and determined that it did comply with the Senate rules. The only difference now is that we have a President who would sign it. So, she is playing politics.

The last time she intervened like this, she declared that the GOP didn't have the authority to dismantle Obamacare's "death panels." Back then, Senator Ted Cruz declared that she should be fired. I am writing to mirror that demand.

This is our last best chance to defund Planned Parenthood. Every year, they receive a half billion dollars in taxpayer money and use that funding to stay in business. In a given year, Planned Parenthood uses this money to perform 300,000+ abortions.

One bureaucrat should not be allowed to keep this butcher shop funded and I refuse to allow you to use this as an excuse for inaction.

Congress passed a bill to defund Planned Parenthood in 2015. The President of the United States campaigned on a promise to shut down federal funding as long as Planned Parenthood performs abortions. He won.

It's time for you to get on board, or else.

Defund Planned Parenthood by any means necessary, and that includes replacing the Senate Parliamentarian!
