This is the legislation that would allow law-abiding Americans to carry concealed weapons in all 50 states. Leftist organizations like Moms Demand Action are claiming that the only way to disarm white supremacists is to disarm us all. That is why they just launced a campaign to "Disarm Hate."

They're getting desperate. Democrats won't cry racism until they know they are about to be defeated. It is their final play.

What happened in Charlottesville was depressing. To see so many people on both sides of the political spectrum openly brawling in the street was incredibly demoralizing.

Some political activists, however, saw the violence and decided to use it to push their agenda. Gun control organizations have launched a new campaign to "Disarm Hate." Even though no one was shot in Charlottesville, they are going after the right to bear arms and blaming peaceful armed protesters for the violence. They believe that in order to disarm fascists, they need to keep all Americans disarmed.

If you haven't already, you will start to get letters, calls, emails, and faxes from people urging you to vote against the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act. They will try to use the Charlottesville tragedy - where no one was shot - and pressure you to roll back the 2nd Amendment progress we've made.

The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act is constitutional. A states' rights argument cannot be used to defend unconstitutional gun control laws. This bill would ensure that when someone is permitted to carry a concealed weapon for self-defense in one state, that right would extend to all fifty states. It's common sense. There isn't a single right in the bill of rights that has a geographic limiter. To say that the right to bear arms ends at the end of someone's driveway or at the state line is ludicrous.

That is why this legislation is so close to passing. Rep. Hudson has gathered 208 other co-sponsors for his bill. That puts us just nine away from having enough votes to pass in the House. With so many Senate Democrats up for re-election in pro-gun states, this has a real chance of passing the Senate as well.

Leftist groups see this and they're terrified. They see that the unconstitutional gun control regimes they have spent a century building are about to crumble. So, they're crying racism. They are using Charlottesville to try to continue violating Americans' rights. And they want you to help them with that.

You can't... not if you value re-election.

Send the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act to President Trump's desk or I will vote for someone else who will.
