Paul Ryan just completely flip-flopped. After promising his conservative members that he would now bow to the Left's pressure, we just learned that he has pulled the Sportsmen's Heritage and Recreational Enhancement bill from the calendar because, and this is a quote, "it is not the House's priority."

This now marks the second time this year that the GOP cowards cancelled a vote on a major pro-gun bill.

But it's not over. The fact that they are trying to hide this shows that they are terrified of what you will do to them if they abandon the 2nd Amendment.

It is up to you to put the fear of the American electorate into these cowards' hearts!

In case you didn't know this, a lot of your colleagues are pretty cowardly. All it took was a couple tweets from Hillary Clinton and gun control Democrats and they are all of a sudden tucking their tails and running away from one of the biggest pro-2nd Amendment bills ever to be introduced in Congress. The Sportsmen's Heritage and Recreational Enhancement (S.H.A.R.E) Act is common sense.

President Obama tried desperately to use environmental regulations to ban lead ammunition. The vast majority of bullets are made out of lead. The EPA tried to use every loophole possible in order to make it illegal to use lead bullets on public lands, which would have made millions and millions of acres off limits to hunters.

But then, Obama also went after target shooters and those who own firearms for self-defense. His ATF tried to twist the wording of a law designed to protect cops so that they could ban the manufacture, import, and sale of popular non-lead bullets.

See the pattern? Together, these regulations went after practically every type of ammunition on the market.

The SHARE Act rolls back these attempts. It solidifies that the EPA can't ban lead ammunition and that the ATF can't go after rifle rounds simply because they have enough energy to defeat body armor that is only designed to stop pistol bullets. If you pass this into law, future Presidents would never again be allowed to go after the 2nd Amendment like this.

But the SHARE Act does other things as well. It protects hunters, opens up more federal land to shooting sports, and undoes an 83-year-old gun control law that needlessly punishes people who buy suppressors. Even in countries that have strict gun controls, suppressors are considered safety devices that can not only protect a shooter's hearing, but also cut down on noise pollution.

The SHARE Act has a provision that would remove suppressors from the purview of the National Firearms Act. Instead of having to pay the ATF $200 and then wait close to a year for a background check, this provision would classify suppressors as regular firearms. People would still need to pass a backgound check, but they could do it through the FBI's instant NICS system instead and pay just a few dollars to do it. It's common-sense.

You need to force a vote. Then you need to do everything in your power to make sure it passes and reaches President Trump's desk.
