Republicans are lining up to pass Diane Feinstein's latest gun ban. This time, it is disguised as a broad ban on rifle accessories that help shooters quickly fire their rifles. But if implemented, it could bring about a brand new assault weapon ban.

There already 33 co-sponsors and more Republican lawmakers are lining up, admitting they support it.

This is the 2nd Amendment fight of our time. Years from now, the history books will write of this time... this very moment.

They will either write about how this Feinstein bill passed, delivering the first nail in the coffin for the 2nd Amendment, or they will write about how liberty-living patriots like you rose up and stopped Congress from surrendering your rights!

Senator Diane Feinstein has introduced the Automatic Gun Fire Prevention Act to target aftermarket accessories that help make semi-automatic guns fire quickly. The specific language of her bill is as follows:

"It shall be unlawful for any person to import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, a trigger crank, a bump-fire device, or any part, combination of parts, component, device, attachment, or accessory that is designed or functions to accellerate the rate of fire of a semi-automatic rifle but not convert the semi-automatic rifle into a machine gun."

This legislation would essentially give the ATF the authority to ban any type of gun accessory that could possibly be construed as helping a rifle fire quickly. It would even ban competition trigger or spring replacements, making gun owners instant felons if they try to add aftermarket parts to their rifles.

This is a gun ban disguised as feel-good legislation. It is an attack on semi-automatic weapons, hoping that you don't understand how they work. A semi-automatic rifle fires once every time the trigger is pulled. Fully automatic rifles, which are heavily regulated, fire multiple rounds for one trigger pull. Devices like bumpfire stocks do not make semi-automatic rifles fire faster than they already could. It still requires one pull of the trigger for each shot. And on top of that, it is possible and easy to bumpfire any semi-automatic weapon without a special stock.

The point is, this Feinstein bill isn't an attack on a specific accessory like you are being told. This is a gun ban, plain and simple. It would give the ATF the authority to ban any accessory they deem helps a semi-automatic rifle fire quickly. Notice how I didn't say "faster."  This has nothing to do with increasing a gun's rate of fire. The legislation actually admits that by saying the banned accessories do "not convert the semi-automatic rifle into a machine gun."

This is a ban on any accessory that could be construed as helping a shooter fire a semi-automatic rifle quickly. Yes, it is deliberately that broad and could even be used to reinstate a new assault weapon ban. Every single accessory listed in the old assault weapon ban could be argued help shooters fire weapons faster.

You need to put a stop to this. Don't fall for the lies and the hype and do NOT surrender our 2nd Amendment rights! This is not what I voted for and if you surrender like this, I will certainly not be voting for you...
