California just became a sanctuary state. Even as more and more illegal alien violent criminals are being released onto the streets, California has doubled down and ordered local police officers to stop cooperating with federal immigration agents.

The Trump administration isn't backing down. They are launching even more raids in sanctuary cities but they need Congressional action in order to pull the plug on them.

In the coming weeks, Congress will hace to pass yet another budget. The Trump administration is demanding the power to defund sanctuary cities that pull stunts like these. Establishment cowards in the House and Senate want to pass yet another "clean" budget, keeping sanctuary cities funded for at least another year.

California just became a sanctuary state. Even when the Federal government identifies a violent illegal alien criminal, police in California are now prohibited from helping track, apprehend, or detain the suspect. They are literally playing politics with American lives.

Just a few weeks ago, California police caught an illegal alien named Nery Israel Estrada-Margos and arrested him on domestic violence charges. However, they released him back into society before the Federal government could show up to take him into custody. Within days, this illegal alien criminal was back behind bars. After he was released from jail, he went back home and finished killing his girlfriend.

Stories like this one hit the headlines every single week. Illegal alien criminals who have no right to be here are allowed to victimize even more Americans because of these ridiculous sanctuary city policies.

In the coming week, you will have to pass next year's budget. I am pleading with you, BEGGING you, to vote to include language that would defund these indefensible sanctuary jurisdictions. Not just sanctuary cities... but sanctuary states as well.

A Federal judge recently intervened and blocked the Trump administration from defunding sanctuary cities at all. The Judge ruled that this sort of retribution was illegal. Well, it is now up to you to change the law.

Sanctuary cities and states receive tens of billions of dollars of federal funding every year. If they refuse to cooperate with Federal law enforcement investigations, then they must lose this money.

It is not enough to just pass this as a standalone bill. It needs to be attached to a must-pass piece of legislation.

If you pass a clean spending bill, these sanctuaries will stay funded and more innocent Americans will die. But if you attach these strings to federal funding, sanctuary jurisdictions will have to choose between protecting illegal aliens and keeping their government funded.
