Because of the way the deal was written, it takes just a simple majority in both the House and the Senate to keep the Iran deal in place. That means it takes just a handful of House Republicans and just THREE Senate Republicans siding with the Democrats to keep Obama's legacy in place.

Today, Donald Trump will announce his decision not to recertify the Iran nuclear deal. He has now left it to you and your colleagues to finish the job.

Obama gave Iran billions of dollars and over 130 tons of the heavy water necessary to make nuclear weapons. He undid all of the sanctions and gave Iran access to the world economy again.

The nuclear agreement is so weak and one-sided that American inspectors aren't allowed on site and Iran is allowed to "self-inspect" and certify their own compliance with the agreement.

What kind of fool allows a terrorist state to "self-inspect" whether or not they are building weapons of mass destruction?

The Nuclear agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran is so one-sided that it allows them to continue their ballistic missile research. These missiles aren't used to deliver conventional bombs. Intercontinental ballistic missiles are designed to deliver WMDs.

So, when the current agreement runs out in seven years, Iran will be allowed to resume its nuclear weapons program. Their breakout time is estimated to be near instantaneous. When that happens, they will also have a missile program advanced enough to send a nuclear bomb anywhere on earth.

President Trump is doing what he can to decertify. Now it is up to you to finish this. Because the Iran deal passed with a simple majority, it can be dismantled by one.

You need to pull the plug on this. You need to withdraw from the agreement and immediately reinstate the sanctions. Do not allow Iran to continue down the path towards a nuclear weapon!

This isn't about Republican versus Democrat or about preserving or dismantling Obama's legacy. This is about protecting the United States, its allies, and the entire world from a terrorist state that has promised it will use nuclear weapons as soon as it can.
