It has been 13 months since the 2016 election that shocked the world. Donald Trump ran on a very simple promise: enforce our country's immigration laws as-written.

He has submitted to you and your colleagues a 70-point plan for securing the border and enforcing American immigration law. That includes building a wall along the southern border. Eight border wall prototypes have already been built and Border Patrol agents are currently testing them.

We've already seen that the GOP plotting an amnesty surrender has been enough to return illegal border crossings to Obama-levels. The promise of amnesty was enough to prompt illegal aliens to start trying to enter the US again.

I don't even want to fathom what would happen if the establishment succeeded in passing amnesty and our border remained completely open...

You need to build the wall. You need to pass the 70-point immigration plan that President Trump delivered to Congress. Then, and only then, will we be able to get illegal immigration under control.

But if you allow this new immigration surrender to move forward and you allow these turncoats to stab Americans in the back like this, I will have no choice but to work around the clock to remove you from office. That's not a threat, by the way. It's a promise.
