For 45-straight weeks, Mitch McConnell has allowed the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act to collect dust. He is trying to kill it.

Meanwhile, law-abiding gun owners are literally being sent to jail for exercising their 2nd Amendment rights in states that don't honor their carry permits.

Now, President Trump and the White House are getting involved. Enough is enough. You need to send this bill to his desk by any means necessary. That includes using the nuclear option.

The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act is simple. If someone is licensed or permitted to carry a concealed firearm in one state, they would be allowed to do so in every state. They would still need to obey local laws surrounding use of force, but anti-gun states would no longer be allowed to arbitrarily block concealed carriers from exercising their 2nd Amendment rights across the country.

The bill would actually go one step further than previous drafts, however, and extend full reciprocity to non-resident permits as well. What that means is that if someone lives in New Jersey or California and is being arbitrarily denied a carry permit, they could then turn to states like Utah or Florida and use those states' non-resident permits to carry nationwide... including in their home state.

Currently, 26% of the American population lives in states that arbitrarily deny carry permits. This legislation would be one of the biggest civil rights bills of our time, restoring the 2nd Amendment for tens of millions of Americans.

You need to put it onto Trump's desk. He has promised to sign it, but neither Ryan nor McConnell are interested in doing what needs to be done to get it there.

You need to pass it by any means necessary. Yes, that includes attaching it to a must-pass bill, using a discharge petition, or even using the nuclear option.

The longer you wait, the more innocent people end up ensnared by anti-gun states' unconstitutional gun control laws. A right delayed is a right denied, and We the People will vote accordingly.
