Concealed carry reciprocity legislation has sat on Mitch McConnell's desk for 47-straight weeks. He refuses to even put it up for a vote.

In the house, the Leadership literally had to be shamed into holding a vote. Even though the bill passed with bipartisan support, Ryan refuses to do anything extra to get it onto Trump's desk.

Every day you wait means more Americans are victimized, either by being forced to disarm when traveling across country or being arrested for refusing to give up their right to bear arms.

Donna Marie Gracey is a 59-year-old Florida resident. She has a lawfully-issued Florida concealed handgun permit that gives her the ability to exercise her 2nd Amendment right to bear arms in 37 states.

She was pulled over in late December in Frenchtown, New Jersey because police officers believed her car windows were too tinted. As she was fumbling for her license and registration, the police officer briefly noticed she had a Florida carry permit. He used that as an excuse to search her car and ended up finding a legally owned pistol in her purse.

Frenchtown is literally right on the Delaware River. Her Florida carry permit was valid in Pennsylvania. Had she been pulled over just a mile to the east, she would have gotten off with nothing but a fine for her tinted window. But because she was pulled over in New Jersey, she is now facing multiple felony charges. Her life is being ruined, all because she exercised her right to bear arms.

The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act would have protected her. It would have stopped police officers from throwing her in jail simply because she was carrying a gun for self defense.
There are literally Americans who are facing felony charges because they had the gall to exercise their God given right to self defense in states that don't honor the 2nd Amendment. A quarter of all Americans live in states that refuse to allow them to bear arms outside of their homes. The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act fixes all of this.

Under the 14th Amendment, you and your colleagues have an obligation to act when states refuse to respect Americans' rights and liberties. The 2nd Amendment is not a second-class right. You have an obligation to force states to honor the right to bear arms. The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act does just that.

I am demanding that you do everything in your power to put this bill onto Trump's desk NOW, by any means necessary!
