Paul Ryan thinks he can have his cake and eat it too. He thinks he can run for the exit while still holding power for the next eight months.

It is remarkable to watch how lame-duck politicians show their true colors when they realize they have nothing to lose. Jeff Flake has started to openly discuss impeachment. He was forced to announce retirement after polls showed he had just 25% support among Republicans in Arizona.

John McCain hasn't showed up for work in months. He is at home getting treatment for a brain tumor. But that hasn't stopped him from criticizing the President at every turn.

Bob Corker announced he wouldn't seek re-election in Tennessee and then proceeded to unload insult after insult on President Trump.

Paul Ryan is taking a different tack. No longer beholden to voters, Paul Ryan is committed to pushing through his surrender agenda.
