Rep. Carlos Curbelo has introduced a discharge petition to force a vote on a clean amnesty bill. This legislation gained the most support in the Senate when four different immigration bills were put to a vote. Curbelo claims he has the votes. 18 GOP Congressmen have officially signed on and the others have allegedly promised to support the measure.

The reason they haven't hit their magic number on paper is because the supporters wanted to wait until after the May 15 primaries.

They know that what they are doing is so unpopular with their constituents that they want to make sure they wait until after they have secured the party's nomination.

This fear is well-founded. Any Congressman or Senator who votes for a clean amnesty bill without funding the border wall, cracking down on sanctuary cities, and reforming America's legal immigration system will be removed from office.

It's not a threat, it's a promise. There is no safe time to stab the American people in the back like this. If you do this, you will have made an enemy out of We the People.

You must do everything in your power to not only stop this discharge petition from reaching the magic number of signatures, but also to make sure that this clean amnesty bill never reaches President Trump's desk.

You need to give Donald Trump the tools and funding necessary to enforce our immigration laws. Secure the border and deport illegal alien criminals. Hold sanctuary cities accountable. End the visa lottery and cut off chain migration. Those are the priorities that I voted for. Anything less is unacceptable and anything less will lose my support, both financial and at the polls.
