Trump has done it. After the UN started demanding he open up our southern border, Trump gave the order to withdraw (and defund) the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Already, GOP traitors are hard at work with Democrats to get the funding restored.

Yesterday, President Trump announced that the United States was withdrawing from the United Nations Human Rights Council.

The UNHRC is a joke. Not only has it extended membership to some of the world's worst human rights abusers, including China, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, and Venezuela. The Council has become so politicized that more than 67% of all of its resolutions end up targeting the United States or Israel.

George W. Bush had withdrawn from the UNHRC. Barack Obama rejoined the committee and promised them American tax dollars. For eight years, the UN has been using my hard earned money to target American sovereignty and our interests abroad.

Most recently, the UN demanded that Trump stop detaining illegal aliens at the border. Yes, the UNHRC used American tax dollars to condemn the President for enforcing America's immigration laws. That was the final straw. Nikki Haley has formally pulled the United States of America out of the council.

Already, however, some of your colleagues are discussing plans to reverse Trump's withdrawal.

When Donald Trump withdrew from the UN Climate Treaty last year, three Republicans -- Lamar Alexander, Susan Collins, and Lindsey Graham -- teamed up with Democrats to restore the funding that Obama had promised. That was shameful.

Some of your colleagues are now trying to do the same with the UN Human Rights Council.

You need to put a stop to this betrayal. It is time to put America first. That means cutting off funding to the United Nations all together.

President Trump is taking a hatchet to the United Nations' budget and he's doing it for all to see. Many in Congress are working behind closed doors to undermine him.

You have a choice. Either you get on board with the America First agenda and start publicly cutting the United Nations' budget, or I will have no choice but to assume you're one of the Congressmen or Senators who is working in the shadows to undermine the President.

If you will not fight to pull the plug on the UN and its anti-American agenda, then I will have to just assume you support it (and I will vote accordingly).
