President Trump has nominated Brett Kavanaugh to replace Anthony Kennedy as the newest Associate Justice on the Supreme Court.

Kavanaugh is pro-life, pro-gun, and an overall strong Conservative nominee. The Left is coming after him with everything they've got, demanding that Congress wait until after the midterms before confirming him. Their goal is to give liberals enough time to elect more Democrats to Congress so they can block him permanently.

They're going after the cowards in the GOP and now, even Mitch McConnell is admitting that they might need to take more time vetting Kavanaugh because of how long his paper trail is.

President Trump's nomination of Brett Kavanaugh was excellent. This man is a strong originalist who follows the Constitution, not judicial activism. When he was confirmed in 2006, he received bipartisan support from both Republicans and Democrats.

Today, however, he is being rebranded as a radical. This is nonsense, and you know it.

Already, we are seeing some of your colleagues having fits over the nomination. Nancy Pelosi is promising to "avenge Obama" by obstructing everything in the House. Senate Democrats are promising to use every parliamentary maneuver at their disposal to obstruct and delay Kavanaugh's confirmation.

Some are even discussing shutting down the government to stop Kavanaugh from being confirmed.

This obstruction is shameful.

Under no circumstances can you allow the Left to obstruct this nominee. He must be confirmed before the Supreme Court gavels into session on October 1.

The American people demand it.

Donald Trump won the presidency. During the campaign, he laid out a list of the judges that he would nominate to fill Supreme Court vacancies. He made the Supreme Court a campaign issue and the American people voted for that list of judges.

Now that he has nominated the second judge from that list, members of Congress want to block him?

Absolutely not.

You need to use all of your political capital to get Kavanaugh across the finish line. Whatever it takes, he must be confirmed.

You cannot allow Pelosi or Schumer to get in the way. You can not allow GOPers like Collins or Murkowski to flip-flop. You cannot allow the GOP leadership to relent and push off the confirmation date.
