News just broke that Paul Ryan will give the Democrats a vote on their bill to Abolish ICE. While the ploy is obviously an attempt to force them to go on record with such a radical proposal, the media isn't covering the "compromise" bill that the GOP plans to push when the Abolish ICE resolution fails.

Make no mistake: you will not abolish ICE. Only 1 in 4 Americans believe that is a good idea (which is embarrassingly high enough, as it is). Even if the bill somehow got the votes, Trump has promised he would veto any 'Abolish ICE' bill that reached his desk.

The "compromise" plan is far more dangerous. For weeks, the GOP leadership has been working with Democrats on a bill to restore Obama's catch-and-release border policy and enshrine it into Federal law.

When the Abolish ICE bill fails, this is what the leadership will push as a "bipartisan" solution.

Of the 103 young illegal alien children who were separated from their families at the border, do you know why 45 of them were ineligible to be returned to their parents?

For most, DNA tests proved that they weren't actually brought into the US by a family member. They were trafficked in by criminals who believed a child gave them a get-out-of-jail-free card with the Border Patrol. Under the Obama administration, it did.

Others were not able to be returned because their parents were actually violent criminals. 22 of those parents were either charged with, or wanted for, violent crimes like homicide, murder, kidnapping, rape, and child abuse.

In what world is it a good idea to release an illegal alien wanted for homicide into the United States? Why should child traffickers and rapists have a get-out-of-jail-free card simply because they showed up to a border patrol checkpoint with a child in tow?

The plan being pushed by the GOP leadership and Democratic Party is dangerous, not just to the children being trafficked, but to innocent Americans as well. The Obama administration ended up releasing hundreds of thousands of illegal alien criminals from custody under their catch-and-release program. Of those, there were at least 124 illegal aliens who were released into American communities and later arrested on homicide charges.

Catch-and-release was literally killing Americans. And now some of your colleagues want to make it permanent?

Absolutely not.

You need to kill this bill before catch-and-release ends up killing any more innocent people. When you were elected, you swore an oath to defend this country, her people, and her constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. To vote for a bill that makes catch-and-release permanent would be a gross violation of your oath, and would guarantee your removal.
