The smears and delay tactics employed against Judge Kavanaugh were shameful. They showed just how low many of your colleagues are willing to go to stop the President from filling Judicial vacancies.

There were 9 other Federal judicial nominees that were supposed to be voted out of committee last week, along with Kavanaugh. They never got their votes because of the Left's stall tactics.

Now that Democrats have lost on Kavanaugh, they are doubling down against the rest of the nominees.

Under the current rules, Democrats can force 30 hours of debate on each nominee. When it comes to the Judicial vacancies alone, Chuck Schumer alone has the power to force 5070 hours of debate. That comes out to more than 211 straight days of delays, just on the Judicial nominees.

Add in all of the Executive Branch vacancies and Schumer has the power under the rules to stop Trump from filling all of the vacancies in government before the end of his first term.

Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh would have never been confirmed without Mitch McConnell invoking the nuclear option.

Now, I am demanding that you go nuclear again and scrap the Left's ability to stall like this. Abolish the 30-hour rule and start passing the President's legislative agenda and confirming his nominees!

These last two weeks have been toxic. Democrats were willing to do and say anything in order to destroy Brett Kavanaugh and his family. It was shameful.
