Lying to Congress is a crime. Defying lawfully issued subpoenas is a crime.

Those criminal statutes only mean something if you and your colleagues are willing to enforce them. Contempt of Congress charges are unique in that Congress alone can vote on charges. They don't need the DOJ or FBI to enforce a Contempt charge. The Sergeant at Arms even has the lawful and constitutional power to imprison people who are charged with Contempt. It is the one crime that you have near unlimited powers to actually enforce.

So, why aren't you enforcing these laws? Why are you letting all of these Obama officials and Deep State operatives off the hook?

This week, Fusion GPS Founder Glenn Simpson refused to comply with a subpoena to testify before Congress. Why? He knows that when he shows up, he could be arrested. He lied to Congress under oath in his previous testimony. Simpson was asked point-blank if he ever met with Bruce Ohr before the 2016 election to discuss the Trump-Russia dossier. Simpson said "no." That was a lie. You have testimony and communications evidence that proves this was a lie.

And yet, not only is he getting let off the hook, but he is being allowed to flagrantly defy Congressional subpoenas to testify.

Then, you have Rod Rosenstein. He has been served with multiple subpoenas for documents. Congress, under its constitutional oversight powers, ordered the #2 at the Justice Department to deliver documents to them, unredacted. Not only did he heavily redact most of documents, but Rosenstein has flagrantly refused to hand over hundreds of documents at all.

Rosenstein was called to testify before Congress again this week. This time, however, he was ordered to answer to the allegations that he is trying to remove the duly elected President from office. With no notice, Rosenstein simply refused to show up to testify.

That's not to even mention the open-and-shut cases you would have against Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, or even James Comey for lying to or deliberately misleading Congress.

And yet, every single one of these Deep State criminals is being let off the hook. Paul Ryan and the GOP refuses to let them face Congressional contempt charges.

Part of your constitutional oversight duty is to take action when you discover lawlessness. Not only are these operatives refusing to comply with lawfully issued subpoenas and openly lying to Congress under oath, but they are now refusing to obey a Presidential order to hand over all of the evidence.

This is a coup happening right in front of your eyes, and you're just sitting on your hands!
