Yesterday, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) actually advocated nuclear war if American gun owners refused to surrender their firearms to a mandatory government "buy-back" event, also known as enforced confiscations. When one Twitter user told Swalwell that his plan would lead to civil war, the Congressman dared gun owners to try because "the government has nuclear weapons."

We have a ton of failsafes in place to stop something like this from happening, not to mention the countless servicemen and women who would refuse to comply with such an order. But the fact remains: Democrats aren't pretending to care about gun rights anymore. They are demanding full, nationwide confiscations, even if it means killing innocent gun owners to accomplish it.

And this month, the Left's gun confiscation agenda claimed its first casualty in Maryland. 60-year-old Gary Willis, an innocent man, was killed in his own doorway because he refused to surrender his guns after a family member turned him into police.

Now, as their last act before giving up Congress, establishment Republicans are teaming up with the Left to make Maryland's deadly law a nationwide program!
