This week, the United Nations did something truly shameful. The UN General Assembly voted down a resolution condemning Hamas for launching missiles into Israel residential neighborhoods.

The resolution was common sense. A terror organization was using weapons against a civilian population center. The resolution was non-binding and wouldn't have really done anything but verbally condemn the attacks. Amazingly, the UN refused to pass the resolution.

This is just the latest in a long list of anti-America and anti-Israel UN actions. We have seen the UN literally help illegal aliens sneak into the US. We have seen them try to enforce the unratified Paris Climate Agreement and force Trump to make good on the donations that Obama promised. We have seen the United Nations try to impose gun control on the American people through the Obama-signed UN Arms Trade Treaty.

And when it comes to Israel, the UN has now openly applauded Hamas for trying to kill innocent Israeli civilians.

Enough is enough.

There is currently pending legislation in both the House and Senate that would punish the United Nations for its anti-America and anti-Israel policies by pulling all US funding to the organization.

When this legislation was introduced in late 2016, it had bipartisan support and was being co-sponsored by both Ted Cruz and Chuck Schumer.

There isn't a lot that these two men agree on, but pulling the plug on a rabidly anti-America and anti-Israel United Nations is bipartisan.

In just a matter of days, you must pass a new State Department Appropriations Act. That will include funding for foreign aid and the United Nations.

I am demanding that you cut it all. Just remove every cent of funding from the United Nations. For far too long, the UN has used American tax dollars to launch its agenda against us and our allies.
