The GOP is rushing to push through their immigration surrender bill. We knew that the legislation was going to be bad, but not this bad.

In exchange for just 55 miles of new fencing, the Republicans want to release thousands of illegals from jail, block ICE from arresting illegals, stop Trump from building the wall in the most important places. The bill is so terrible, that it would also give liberal local mayors would get the power to veto border wall construction if it passes through their town.

All while giving away billions of dollars in foreign aid to Central and South America and almost half a billion in aid and benefits to illegal aliens!

So even if Pres. Trump is able to get the funding elsewhere, this bill blocks him from building the wall along most of the border.

You CANNOT let the Republicans put this onto President Trump's desk!

You CANNOT vote for this new immigration compromise bill. Instead of fighting for border security, the Left has slipped in poison pill amendments that would not only release thousands of illegal aliens from prison, but also block the border wall from going up in the most important sectors.

The bill cuts the total number of ICE detention beds by 9,000, meaning that if this bill is signed into law, thousands of illegal aliens would be released from jail. Any new arrests would need to be offset by detention releases as well.

While the legislation allows for 55 miles of new border fencing, there are poison pill amendments that significantly undermine the project.

The bill blocks border wall construction on a 100-acre parcel of land because it serves as a butterfly sanctuary. Even though border patrol desperately needs a fence in this sector, Democrats in Congress are trying to keep this part of the border wide open...

But probably the worst poison pill is the Mayor's Veto. As it is written right now, mayors of border towns would get the power to veto border wall construction projects if they pass through their towns or cities.

This is a national security emergency, and Congress is about to give local towns the power to keep the border wide open. This is ludicrous.

These poison pills are simply unacceptable. You cannot -- under any circumstances -- pass this legislation.

You have one job and that is to protect the American citizens, your constituents. Not illegal aliens... not butterflies... you need to protect Americans. This legislation doesn't do that.

If you won't honor your oath and protect the American people from the scourge of open borders, then you have no business serving in any capacity and you will be removed from office.
