In the four decades since the National Emergencies Act was passed, Congress has never tried to overrule the President like this. Past Presidents have used American tax dollars to prop up foreign countries and Congress didn't bat an eyelash. But now that President Trump is using the statute to protect our national security, there is all of a sudden a rush to block him.

How dare you?

Honestly, how dare you condemn the American people to living in a country with open borders. Just this week, there were two high-profile illegal alien arrests. A 12-year-old girl was raped by a twice-deported illegal alien in Alabama and a 59-year-old woman was murdered by a previously-deported illegal alien in California.

This is what open borders looks like. Border Patrol desperately needs the wall. Not because it will stop all drug or human smugglers from crossing in these sectors, but because it will allow them to allocate their agents to patrolling other areas of the border.

How many Americans need to be victimized or killed before you recognize that this is an emergency and allow President Trump to secure the border?
