President Trump was preparing to close the border entirely, but the GOP threatened to vote with Democrats to stop him. They care more about protecting avocado imports than protecting the American people.

Trump just punched back, ordering Congress to fix the crisis or else he would. But Mitch McConnell is already saying there won't be a vote on any immigration bills.

Right now, Trump administration officials are drafting the border closure order. At the same time, so-called Republicans are meeting with the Left to figure out how to stop it.

President Trump issued his final threat. If you and your colleagues do not immediately send him legislation addressing the crisis at the Southern Border, he will take action on his own and close the border down entirely.

This is a crisis of your making. You passed a spending bill this year that placed a hard cap on ICE and Border Patrol detention funding. They are only allowed so 40,000 detention beds in their facilities. Once those are filled, they have to start releasing the illegal aliens they capture. Since the start of the year, they have had to release over 120,000 captured illegal aliens.

You know how to fix this. You must increase ICE and Border Patrol's funding to ensure they have the power to detain all illegal aliens and amend the law to make non-Mexican illegal aliens immediately deportable. Under Federal law, Border Patrol can immediately turn Mexican nationals around at the border. But if a border crosser is from any other country, they have to let them in and apply for asylum. More than 92 percent of asylum applications are being denied, but by that time, the illegal aliens have already skipped their court dates and disappeared into society.

This isn't a riddle or puzzle. You know exactly what it will take to fix this crisis. But the fact is that we've all known this for years.

The only reason this hasn't been fixed is because both political parties want to use the crisis at the border as leverage. Democrats want amnesty and citizenship for illegal aliens already here and Republicans want to increase legal immigration so that their corporate donors can hire cheap foreign workers instead of Americans.

Notice how neither of those agendas focus on protecting Americans. How disgusting...

There is no compromise here. Either you care about protecting this country or you don't. Either you serve your American constituents, or you serve these illegal alien invaders.
