Democrats and their Establishment Republican allies just approved a radical Homeland Security Spending bill that would block Trump from securing the border.

The bill cuts off all funding to border wall construction, Border Patrol hires, and new border patrol checkpoints. It also would cut ICE's detention beds to just 34,000 (down from over 49,000 last year).

That means that once Border Patrol and ICE capture 34,000 illegal aliens, they would have to start releasing illegals into the country, no matter what.

The House of Representatives' draft Homeland Security Appropriations Act is the most radical spending package that we have seen in years.

The bill's sponsors aren't even pretending to care about border security anymore. They swore an oath to protect the United States and instead, are using their power to open up our southern border.

This legislation blocks President Trump from building any new border wall sections next year. But it would also claw back the "compromise" border wall funding approved this year in order to end the government shutdown. The legislation also would block Border Patrol from spending any money to hire new agents or set up new checkpoints.

The plan also slashes ICE's detention funding. Last year, ICE had enough funding to detain 49,000 illegal aliens at once. This new bill would reduce that number to 34,000 for next year (a 30% reduction).

With hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens crossing the border every month, this disgusting bill would only allow ICE to detain 34,000 of them at any given moment. The rest would have to be released into American communities.

What are you doing? You swore an oath to keep the American people safe. This bill doesn't do that. It prioritizes illegal aliens over American citizens. It deliberately ties Border Patrol agents' hands and stops them from protecting the border. It forces ICE to release illegal aliens, even if they are criminals. It is shameful.
