With the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals' blessing, President Trump's "Protect Life" executive order goes into effect starting today. Abortion providers and clinics that refer for abortions will no longer have access to Title X family planning dollars.

The biggest consequence is that Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider on earth, will no longer be able to use Federal funding to keep the lights on. If they want to continue to participate in the Title X program, then they would need to close down their abortion side of the business.

This is how it should be. The Hyde Amendment has been in place for decades and stipulates that Federal funding cannot be used for abortions. But since then, Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers have used accounting tricks to participate in Title X's family planning program anyway. Trump's order puts a stop to that.

Predictably, Planned Parenthood has spent millions on lobbyists to convince you to give them their funding back.

They have succeeded in slipping a provision into the H.R.2740 minibus spending bill that to would roll back Pres. Trump's Protect Life program, restore all of Planned Parenthood's funding, and give them an additional 114 million as an apology.

It reads that, "the Secretary shall carry out section 1001 of the PHS Act solely in accordance with any regulations or other conditions or instructions established by the Secretary pursuant to the authority under section 1006 of the PHS Act that applied as of January 18, 2017, to grants and contracts awarded under section 1001 of the PHS Act..."

This provision would undo all of the Trump administration's work and force HHS to disburse Title X funds according to the Obama administration standards that were in place two days before Trump's inauguration. This is truly a disgusting abuse of power.

I am demanding that you do everything in your power to stop this provision from becoming law. I don't care what it takes. I don't care what the Left tries to bribe you with to get you to turn a blind eye to what they are doing.

You CANNOT allow them to roll back President Trump's Protect Life regulation and restore Planned Parenthood's funding!
