The Trump administration is submitting a rescission request asking for permission to cut $4.3 in funding. All of this was earmarked for countries that oppose us or programs that run counter to our interests.

Take Pakistan, as an example. The President is cutting $440 million in foreign aid because Pakistan has stopped cooperating on counter-terrorism operations. $60 million is also being cut from aid to the Palestinian Authority because they were caught using American aid dollars to teach school children 'Death to America.' Hundreds of millions are being cut from Central American countries, like Guatemala, that refuse to help the US stop the caravans from reaching the border. And across the board, anti-American UN programs -- like the small arms treaty and the Paris Climate Agreement -- are seeing their funding cut all together.

It all adds up to around $4.3 billion in aid funding and Trump is cutting it all.

By law, you have 45 days to approve the rescission request. But as you know, the fiscal year will end before that 45-day clock runs out. So, the cuts are guaranteed to go into effect.

Many of your colleagues are vowing to block the President anyway. They are promising to not only restore this aid funding in next years's spending package, but to include provisions that would block Trump from ever cutting it again. And not just Trump's 2019 cuts... Democrats want to restore all of the cuts that Trump made in 2017 and 2018 too. We are talking about tens of billions of dollars...

They are actually demanding that the President disburse aid funding to America's enemies and opponents abroad. You cannot allow this to happen!
