There is no compromising with people who want to abolish the 2nd Amendment. There is no middle ground when it comes to gun bans or confiscation programs.

You either support the right to keep and bear arms, or you don't.

This week, Democrats are holding a hearing on the Assault Weapons Ban of 2019 and will force a vote on a confiscation amendment. But instead of fighting back, many of your colleagues are offering to "compromise" with these radicals.

Instead of authorizing nationwide gun bans or confiscation "buybacks," the GOP's compromise plan would create a nationwide gun owner registry instead.

Right now, the Federal government is notified when someone buys a firearm from a licensed dealer. That is what the background check system is. ATF agents also have access to records showing what gun(s) were transferred.

But the government hasn't had the ability to monitor private sales and transfers. The Establishment Republican plan would give them that authority. Every time a firearm changes hands in this country, the government would know about it.

Gun grabbers are excited because they know complete confiscation is impossible without registration. They need to know who has the guns before they can confiscate them... And now you want to give them that power?

This is not a "compromise." If you vote for this universal background check bill and give the government the power to keep a registry of firearms in this country, then you will be voting for confiscation. Because that is what will happen if you pass this legislation.

We have no choice. Any Congressman or Senator, Republican or Democrat, who votes to set us down the path towards Confiscation will be removed from office. You have been warned...
