The UN decided to send President Trump a bill for over $1 billion that they say we "owe" to them. Trump, of course, laughed in their face and told them he will never pay.

Republicans and Democrats in Congress, however, are planning to pay the bill. They are advancing legislation -- H.R. 2839 -- designed to not only restore the UN funding that Trump has cut, but remove the legal cap on US contributions to the United Nations so that Congress can bail them out.

Not only are they trying to restore all of the funding cuts that Trump made, but their bill also removes the statutory cap on how much the United States is allowed to contribute to the United Nations. Right now, Federal law prohibits the US from contributing more than 25% of the UN's total budget. This bill that the Left is pushing through would lift the cap so that you can bail out the United Nations and save them from bankruptcy.

The bill was originally going to get a vote some time in November. However, now that the UN is being forced to shut down its programs, Democratic leadership is promising to vote on it in the next week.

You CANNOT allow this bill to pass!
