But the bill that Democrats and Republicans are negotiating over is the most radical amnesty bill ever introduced. It would grant amnesty and a pathway to citizenship to over 2.5 million illegal aliens, even if they have multiple criminal convictions!

We are now one week away from the Supreme Court hearing on DHS v. University of California, a case that will decide the fate of Barack Obama's illegal alien amnesty executive order.

Obama promised illegal aliens that he would not deport them or prosecute them for illegally working in the United States. When Trump tried to reverse course and enforce the law as-written, he was blocked by activist judges.

What Obama did was both illegal and unconstitutional. He had no right to sidestep Congress and start handing out amnesty on his own. The Supreme Court has a chance to finally shut this amnesty program down.

Many of your colleagues are rushing to pass an amnesty bill before the DACA program is repealed. They are urging Democrats and Republicans alike to pass their clean amnesty bill and protect these illegal aliens from deportation. But like so many Democrat bills, the devil is in the details.

Right now, there are 700,000 illegal aliens covered by Obama's amnesty order. The bill you are being asked to pass -- H.R. 6 -- would expand that to cover more than 2.5 million illegal aliens.

Obama's program also says that illegal aliens remain ineligible for US citizenship. H.R. 6, on the other hand, would put all 2.5 million of these illegal aliens on a pathway to receive American citizenship.

And as if it couldn't get crazier, H.R. 6 would also make illegal alien convicted criminals eligible for amnesty and citizenship. As long as illegal aliens have not committed more than four misdemeanor crimes, they would receive a pathway to citizenship.

I have a really simple question for you: What on earth are you doing?

How could you possibly believe that this should be your priority?

Look at all of the challenges facing the American people. The American people sent you to Washington DC to fix the country's problems. And now you want to rush through a bill to give amnesty and citizenship to convicted criminals?

Please listen to me. If you go along with this plan, you will be committing political suicide. Any Congressman or Senator, Republican or Democrat, who votes to give no-strings-attached amnesty to 2.5 million illegal aliens -- including convicted criminals -- will be removed from office.

It is not too late to shut this down. There is still time to shut down this new amnesty push and save your political career.
