President Trump ran on a very simple promise: If elected, he would put America First.

That included a promise to review all foreign aid spending to make sure it was going to countries, organizations, and programs that actually serve the United States' interests.

Democrats are trying to use this government shutdown threat to force you to pass their bill -- H.R.2839 -- as-is.

This bill is full of amendments designed to undo Trump's UN cuts and return the country to the Obama administration's funding levels.

The legislation would make it illegal for Pres. Trump to fully withdraw from the UN's climate change treaty, even though Barack Obama had absolutely no right to sign it to begin with... The bill would also force the State Department to continue paying into this radical UN treaty.

The legislation would also restore the funding to some of the most radical UN programs that Trump has tried to cut. Funding would be restored to the UN's gun control agenda, illegal alien and refugee migration pact, and the organization's most anti-American and anti-semitic programs. And for the first time in three years, American taxpayers would again be forced to start paying for the United Nations' abortion programs around the globe.
