When you were sworn in, you pledged to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

There is no bigger enemy to the rights enumerated in the Constitution than the United Nations.

You and your colleagues approved billions in funding for the United Nations. After Trump implemented funding cuts last year, the UN was forced to enact a hiring freeze. But now that new funding has been authorized, UN agencies can finally start hiring again.

One of the first jobs posted was for experts in civilian disarmament to lead the UN's gun control missions around the globe. Typically, these kinds of positions get stationed in conflict zones and the officials are required to speak the local languages. But these new hires only need to know English, according to the job posting, and they will be working exclusively in the United States.

It is not hard to see what the UN is trying to do... They have wanted a chance to disarm the American people for years.

Now that Trump has withdrawn from the Arms Trade Treaty -- which Barack Obama had unconstitutionally signed -- they won't have the Federal government as an ally. But the job listing says that in addition to working with UN member states, their new civilian disarmament officers will also work with "other interested partners."

Look at what is happening in Virginia. Newly elected politicians are literally threatening to use National Guard soldiers to confiscate citizens' guns. The Trump administration may refuse to cooperate with UN gun controllers, but there are plenty of other "interested parties" that would love help with implementing their gun control agenda.

As I said, you swore an oath to defend the 2nd Amendment, whether you like it or not, against all foreign enemies. The United Nations is now using American tax dollars to hire English-speaking experts in civilian disarmament who will work exclusively in the United States.

It is time to shut this down. You must sign onto Mike Rogers' American Sovereignty Restoration Act and put a stop to this madness. For far too long, the United Nations has used American funding to try to chip away at our liberties and sovereignty.
