Unbelievable: Chief Justice John Roberts Intervened To Help Impeachment Dems!

This is it. Today, Congress will finally vote to on the articles of impeachment. They will either vote to extend the investigation/trial for months to hear from more witnesses, or they will toss the articles in the trash where they belong.

Your pressure is working. Just last night, Lamar Alexander (R-TN) -- long seen as a swing GOP vote -- announced that he will NOT vote with the Democrats on their impeachment resolution. As it stands right now, the resolution would end in a 50-50 tie.

But Democrats have a back up plan. In addition to pressuring Republicans, they are also pressuring and threatening Chief Justice John Roberts to intervene and cast the tie-breaker vote. They want him to hand control of the impeachment trial over to the radical left.

Considering the fact that Roberts has already interfered in the trial by blocking Rand Paul's question about the whistleblower, he has already proven that he is willing to break the rules to inject himself in the process.

We have a chance to win this, right here and right now. But the Left isn't giving up, so neither can you!

It is almost over. With Sen. Lamar Alexander's announcement that he will not vote to hear additional witnesses, that leaves the Democrats one vote shy of the 51-votes necessary to authorize new subpoenas. If that resolution fails, then the Senate will proceed to considering the verdict in the case (which will be acquittal).

This entire process has been a gigantic waste of time. Despite three years of non-stop investigations and never-ending allegations that Trump broke the law, your colleagues in the House advanced impeachment articles that, for the first time ever, alleged non-crimes.

The House Managers failed to make their case. They failed to prove that Trump committed any impeachable offense.

But your anti-Trump colleagues aren't finished yet. They are promising to double down. In the House, Democrats are promising additional investigations and, potentially, even new impeachment articles against the President and other cabinet officials. In the Senate, Schumer and his allies are not only pressuring Republicans to flip, but are now also pressuring the Chief Justice to cast a tie-breaking vote on witnesses.

The Chief Justice, standing in for Mike Pence as Presiding Officer, does not have this power. Only the Vice President has the power to cast a tie-breaking vote.

And yet, Democrats are calling on John Roberts to do it anyway. They point to the 1868 Impeachment Trial of Andrew Johnson as proof that the Chief Justice can cast tie breaking votes when the Senate is deadlocked and equally divided. But considering that there have only been three Presidential impeachment trials in US history, including this one, that is hardly binding precedent...

Nevertheless, Democrats are hopeful they can convince Roberts to flip. Yesterday, John Roberts intervened in the trial for the second time to block a question from Sen. Rand Paul. Roberts refused to read the on-topic question because it included Eric Ciaramella's name, the individual widely suspected to be the so-called whistleblower. Given that Roberts was willing to break the rules to inject him in the trial, the Left is hopeful that they can convince him to do it again...

For three years, the American people have been forced to endure these never-ending and baseless investigations against the President. Each and every time, the allegations end up falling apart under additional scrutiny. After advancing baseless, non-criminal impeachment articles, Impeachment Democrats realize that their case is once again falling apart. Instead of accepting their fate and acknowledging that they have done irreparable damage to the Republic, they are desperately trying to salvage their case. Even if that means violating the Constitution.

This should settle it. You must put a stop to ALL of the baseless investigations against Trump. That means ending the impeachment trial without additional witnesses and stopping the Chief Justice from ever again inserting himself into the trial process. But this also means putting an end to the new witch hunts being launched in the House.

You swore an oath to do the people's business. After three years of non-stop investigations, it is time for Congress to move on and actually start doing the work of the country. You know, the work you were sent to Washington DC to complete
