And now, Congressional Democrats are trying to set the stage for door-to-door gun confiscations. They are advancing a legislative package that would make it possible for the government to create a registry of American gun owners.

The Left knows that confiscation is impossible without a registry.

But what is stunning is that the GOP is still floating a "compromise" plan. Instead of fighting back against the gun grabbers, Republicans are offering to meet them halfway...

This week, Joe Biden was out to eat with Beto O'Rourke and he was asked whether he was adopting the former Texas Congressman's radical gun control proposals.

Biden looked right into the camera and promised that if he is elected President, he will be "coming for" Americans' guns.

Past Congresses understood how dangerous a gun registry would be. World history teaches us that every time governments have confiscated their citizens' firearms, they relied on a gun registry to do it.

That is why it is illegal for the Federal government to maintain a gun or gun owner registry. In addition to outright banning a Federal gun registry, other gun control laws have been structured in a way to make sure that it would be impossible to create such a registry.

Background checks are only performed for guns purchased at licensed dealers. That isn't a loophole, it was a compromise to ensure that the Federal government would not be able to keep track of firearms privately changing hands. And when the government does perform a background check, it is required by law to destroy those records within 24 hours.

But a number of your colleagues are now pushing a package that would abolish these protections and open the door for the creation of a gun registry. Democrats are making another push to pass H.R.8. This bill would eliminate the 1994 background check compromise and give the government the power to monitor private gun sales/transfers as well.

Gun control advocates are also pushing H.R.5949. Instead of the government being required to destroy background check records, the FBI would be allowed to hold onto them "as long as necessary."

And those are just two of the bills in the massive gun control package that Democrats are pushing.

Make no mistake: this is nothing but an attempt to create a gun and gun owner registry in order to set the stage for future gun confiscations.

You swore an oath. When you arrived in Washington, you held up your right hand and swore an oath to defend the Constitution. That includes the 2nd Amendment.

If you cannot bring yourself to do that, then we will have no choice but to remove you from office.
