Last week, Rand Paul introduced an amendment to make sure that the 2nd round of Chinese Coronavirus stimulus would NOT be able to go to illegal aliens. His amendment would have mandated there be verified identity checks before anyone can receive emergency government assistance. Both parties shot it down. It was rejected in the Senate by a vote of 95-3. Both parties said they didn't have time to re-write the bill.

Now that Congress is spending over a week on a much larger stimulus bill -- over $1 Trillion -- Rand Paul is once again introducing his amendment to make sure that not a single cent of direct government assistance (tax credits, unemployment benefits, food assistance, or even direct cash payments) goes to illegal aliens.

Like clockwork, both parties are trying to kill his amendment.

They are negotiating a bill to inject $1 Trillion into the economy and American households and the idiots in Washington DC believe that illegal aliens should get a piece of it too...

Last week, Senator Rand Paul introduced a common sense amendment. Now that the government is approving emergency government assistance programs to respond to the Chinese Coronavirus and its economic impact, it only makes sense that these direct disbursements only go to American citizens and legal permanent residents. Sen. Paul's bill would require that all identities be verified before any assistance or stimulus can be disbursed.

Paul's amendment was shot down last week in the Senate on a 95-3 vote. The second Chinese Coronavirus response bill will not include these protections.

Now that you and your colleagues are debating a THIRD stimulus bill, this one expected to surpass $1.2 TRILLION, Senator Paul is once again trying to ensure that only Americans and lawful permanent residents can receive this stimulus.

It makes sense. It is the same logic behind President Trump's decision to close the borders.

When there is a global pandemic, it is the United States Government's obligation to put America first.

But many of your colleagues do not want these kinds of protections added to the stimulus package. They believe that illegal aliens should be eligible to receive direct cash payments, tax credits, child care reimbursements, and even unemployment assistance.

Considering that many illegal aliens use stolen social security numbers, this could even result in stimulus funds and unemployment checks that should be going to Americans instead being claimed by illegal aliens.

Frankly, I don't care what your position on immigration is. Right now, we are in the midst of a global pandemic. It is time for you to put politics aside and work together to put America and Americans First!

The fact that you and your colleagues would even consider sending stimulus and assistance to illegal aliens, including those using stolen social security numbers, is shameful.

When the 2008/9 stimulus was passed, it included language to protect the funds from being sent to illegal alien households. It included identity checks to ensure that only Americans and lawful permanent residents were eligible.

It is shameful that these protections are not being considered this time.

You must consider Sen. Rand Paul's amendment. If you disagree with elements of it, then you must work together to make it better. But you cannot simply just dismiss it all together.

You need to put America and Americans first. If you cannot bring yourself to do that, then you have failed your constituents and must be removed from office!
