Democrats are trying to use the pandemic as an excuse to push through a new gun ban. With some states still forcing gun stores to remain closed, law-abiding Americans have started turning to making their own homemade firearms. This is legal to do.

Leftists are furious. They are now teaming up with GOPers like Cornyn and Graham to push through a new gun ban called the Undetectable Firearms Act of 2020.

They want to make it illegal for law abiding citizens to build or repair their firearms without first asking the government for permission. Leftists know that if they get this bill passed, they have a clear pathway towards their ultimate gun control goal: universal registration and confiscation!

Leftists are trying to slip this gun ban into the next coronavirus bill. And they have Republicans helping them!

Your colleagues are now trying to use the coronavirus as an excuse to push through a new gun ban.

After states like New York forced gun stores to close down, law abiding gun owners turned to buying parts kits so that they could build their own firearms at home. This is legal. If a law-abiding American is legally allowed to own a gun, then they are legally allowed to build a firearm for personal use.

Democrats have spent years trying to reverse this. The gun control Left has one ultimate goal: create a universal registry of American gun and gun owners so they can eventually implement a confiscation push. They know it is impossible to confiscate Americans' guns if they don't have a registry first. As long as Americans are allowed to legally build their own guns, a complete and total registry is impossible to ever obtain.

Their bill -- the Untraceable Firearms Act of 2020 -- would make it illegal for law abiding Americans to build or repair a firearm without first getting permission from the government. Americans would need to pass a background check every time they want to buy a firearm part. The bill would treat firearm parts the same as firearms themselves...

This would NOT make Americans any safer. The only thing it would accomplish is further chipping away at our 2nd Amendment rights.

This has nothing to do with COVID-19. And yet, your colleagues want to slip this gun ban into the next coronavirus relief bill. They know their legislation would never pass as a standalone bill. They are trying to sneak it into the massive phase four relief bill and want to push it through without people noticing...

You will not get away with this. You swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. Voting for this new bill, or helping it pass in any way, constitutes a violation of that oath.
