Insane Dems Advancing Bills To 'Defund The Police'

Last month, Democrats voted to give police departments and police officers access to additional federal funding because of their heroism during the coronavirus pandemic.

Today, however, those same Democrats are singing a different tune. They are now demanding that police departments have their federal funding cut.

Nancy Pelosi is promising the Leftists in her party that Congress will vote on a bill this week to pull funding from police departments. The GOP is already negotiating with Democrats on a "police accountability bill" that includes a massive cut in funding.

You CANNOT let this happen!

What happened to George Floyd was disgusting. The officers responsible have now been charged. But the rabid leftists in this country aren't content with that. They want ALL police and police departments to be punished.

As we watch the riots and looting that continue to rage across this country, it is unconscionable that your colleagues want to defund the police. You need to be standing with law enforcement, not conspiring to pull departments' funding.

As committees and subcommittees begin writing and debating next year's appropriations bills, it is imperative that you block these Defund the Police amendments from being added to the legislation. Practically every single appropriations bill includes grants and funding for law enforcement agencies. You must protect this funding, by any means necessary.

And when Nancy Pelosi brings her "police accountability" legislation to the floor this week, designed to pull federal funding from state and local police departments, I am demanding that you kill the bill.

Less than a month ago, Democrats were lauding police officers as heroes. Today, the Democrat Party is branding them as villains. It is disgusting how they are being controlled by the far left wing of their party.

You need to be the voice of reason. You need to stand up and block any and all efforts to defund law enforcement agencies in this country.

If you will not stand for law and order, I will have no choice but to remove you from office!
